Brandon Jeffress
While serving on the Main Street Board for the Town of Elizabeth, Colorado, Brandon saw first hand the challenges of economic vitality, community and business failure in rural environments. Brandon’s back ground in business and his history of being a business coach fueled his desire to do more and make something special happen. Those conversations with others who saw the same challenges formed the strategy for Colorado Small Town Business Catalyst.
Brandon is currently a Board Member and Executive Director for Accutech Systems Corporation where he is responsible for revenue growth for all of their organizations.

Zach Higgins
Zach is the Planning Director for the City of Rifle, CO and was previously the Main Street Manager and Community Development Director for the Town of Elizabeth, CO. Zach has worked at many levels of government from grass roots to regional and spent six years in the private sector working in Indian Country with tax credit program housing developments. He loves the planning profession and holds his American Institute of Certified Planners certification. Zach is passionate about fiscal and environmental sustainability planning methodologies and works to implement in the rural Colorado communities he serves. Zach is a 2023 Boettcher Doers and Difference Makers Fellowship Alumni. Through his Boettcher Leadership Development Grant, he has completed an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course, in process of completing the Harvard Kennedy School Public Leadership Credential, and coursework provided by the non-profit Strong Towns. Zach strives to continually work on his leadership edge and grow personally and professionally to better serve his community, family, and himself.

Aleta Jeffress
Aleta is the CEO for the National Cybersecurity Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Prior she served in local, state, and federal government roles both in Colorado and the state of Indiana.
Aleta is passionate about family and community. Aleta is also a current member of the Elizabeth, Colorado Parks and Recreation Board.
